Getting clear about what you do, and what you and your business stand for

Being purposeful and intentional about mapping the various aspects of your business will pay huge dividends in the long term. So be very clear for yourself and with the other stakeholders in your business what your Mission is, and what Vision you have for the future, then you can more easily design the strategies that need to be followed to achieve the Vision.

A vital part of this work is to understand and agree what principles and values will shape the conduct of your business.  What will you seek to do / be consistently, and what will you commit not to do?   How will you conduct your business? What will your attitude and approach be to Customers, Suppliers etc.?  All are essential to your image and reputation.
